Owner/DentistDr. Crystal Curtis, DDS, brings a unique blend of compassionate care, clinical excellence, and whole-person wellness to her role as owner and dentist at Crystal Dental Spa. Originally from Norfolk, VA, Dr. Curtis is guided by her deep faith and commitment to serving others. Her journey in dentistry began with a mission to make a difference through service, leading her to establish the 'Healthy Smiles Are Worthwhile' initiative—where she has taught over 6,000 students about the vital connection between oral and overall health. A true lifelong learner, she graduated from Spelman College and earned her DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, pursuing advanced education with over 100 continuing education hours annually, including the AAID Maxi Course Residency in Implant Dentistry, Spear Education, Kois Center, and imPRES Dental Esthetics. Dr. Curtis is also a proud member of the IAOMT and the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine. Her clinical philosophy centers on delivering personalized, judgment-free experiences that prioritize mind, body, and spirit wellness—in a tranquil, spa-like setting. Dr. Curtis is dedicated to innovative, low-toxicity, and wellness-focused dentistry, and loves building trusting relationships with patients of all ages. Outside the office, she finds joy in cooking, traveling, photography, and spending time with her husband Clifford (CJ), their two children, and being active in her church community.
